Black Tie Fridays

I just love Challenge blogs.  Black Tie Fridays is great because they give you a challenge like this one that is:

No Pattern Paper

How neat is that the possibility's are endless.

I just really wanted to play with February's Stamp of the Month Stamp Set.  So this is what I came up with.
For this card I used:
Black,Kraft and Ruby Cardstock
My Texture Boutigue
Artsie Cricut Cartridge
February Stamp of the Month Stamp Set
Black and Desert Sand Ink
Lace Ribbon from my stash

Remember to check out Black Tie Friday for this challenge and other ones.

Lasting Memories Layout Challenge

I have to say when I saw this challenge I got really excited.  I knew that I wanted to use these borders that I found in my stash.  I also have these pictures of the kids first Halloween party with their friends.  It was so funny we had the garage all pimped out with black lights and a fogger and cool music and they all ended up in the basement watching a movie.  Check out Lasting Memories and make a border layout also.

Happy Tuesday!  Here is a layout that I made when at a weekend crop.  They were giving away so many goodies.  I won this flower and really wanted to make a page with it.  So here is is Zoo 2006.  That just shows you all how far behind I am in my scrapbooking.  I hope you enjoy this scrapbook page.  Sometimes simple is beautiful.

Inkspirational Challenge #1

I am so excited to come across this blog.  Kim another close to my heart consultant told us about it and I couldn't be happier.  I just love color schemes that make me think outside of the box.  I just love this green with the pink.  There is still time to play so head on over to Inksirational Challenge Blog and see for yourself the great talent.
Here is the color scheme:

Here is my Card that I made:
I used Black and white cardstock.  My Sizzix purse for the dry embossing.  Close to my hearts Sanding block was used on the black.  Ribbon that I had in my stash and the rosette flower was also something that I found.  I just wanted to make a card in a pinch and show you how cute and easy card can be.  Happy Crafting.

Everyday Card!

This card was so easy to make.  I has 2 strips of 2 inch wide paper some ribbon and circles that were already made for another project but were to big.  I put it all together and got this card made.  I like it because it could be made for anything from Sympathy or Birthday or anything in between.  I hope everyone has a nice relaxing weekend.  I am still trying to get Christmas put away but am not moving very fast.  It is way to much fun to come into my craft room and create.

Avonlea Layout

Here is the second layout that my club ladies will be making.  I must confess this paper pack was not my favorite until I started to play with it and so far after a week and a half I have not put it away yet.  It just shows that you really have to play and work with the paper before you decide if you like it or not.  So on the flip side my daughter turned 13 this year and I thought this would make a great layout for her birthday pictures.  I hope this inspires you to take out that paper that has been sitting around and do something with it.  Enjoy and Happy Crafting.

Valentines Day Anyone?

I can't believe it is already Thursday and the first week of 2013.  How time flies.  With January's stamp of the month in mind I got in the mood for Valentines Day and made this card.  I used the sketch from Try Stampin' On Tuesday  and came up with this great card.  It is amazing what a stamp set some scrap paper and a great sketch can make.  I hope this inspires you to take out those scraps and make something.
